We Are The Church

Refrain:
I am the church!  You are the church!  We are the church together! All who follow Jesus, all around the world!  Yes, we’re the church together!
1 The church is not a building, the church is not a steeple, the church is not a resting place, The church is a people. Refrain
2 We’re many kinds of people, with many kinds of faces All colors and all ages, too
From all times and places. Refrain
3 Sometimes the church is marching, Sometimes it’s bravely burning, Sometimes it’s riding, sometimes hiding. Always it’s learning. Refrain
4 And when the people gather. There’s singing and there’s praying
There’s laughing and there’s crying sometimes all of it saying Refrain
5 At Pentecost some people received the Holy Spirit and told the Good News through the world to all who would hear it Refrain

Praise My Soul, The King of Heaven 1,2,4 (UMH 66)

Praise My Soul, The King of Heaven – NRUMC Praise Team 11/3/2022

1 Praise, my soul, the King of heaven, to the throne thy tribute bring; ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, evermore God’s praises sing. Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise the everlasting King.

2 Praise the Lord for grace and favor to all people in distress; praise God, still the same as ever, slow to chide, and swift to bless. Alleluia! Alleluia! Glorious now God’s faithfulness.

4 Angels in the heights, adoring, you behold God face to face; saints triumphant, now adoring, gathered in from every race. Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise with us the God of grace.

In Christ Alone

In Christ Alone – NRUMC Praise Choir (10/27/22)

1 In Christ alone my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song
This cornerstone, this solid ground, firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace ehen fears are stilled, when strivings cease; my comforter, my all in all, here in the love of Christ I stand.
2 In Christ alone, who took on flesh fullness of God in helpless babe.
This gift of love and righteousness scorned by the ones He came to save;
‘Til on that cross as Jesus died the wrath of God was satisfied.
For every sin on Him was laid here in the death of Christ I live.
3 There in the ground, His body lay, light of the world, by darkness slain;
then bursting forth in glorious day, up from the grave, He rose again.
And as He stands in victory, sin’s curse has lost its grip on me;
for I am His and He is mine, bought with the precious blood of Christ.
4 No guilt in life, no fear in death, this is the power of Christ in me;
from life’s first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny.
No pow’r of hell, no scheme of man can ever pluck me from His hand
’til He returns or calls me home here in the power of Christ I’ll stand.

How Great Thou Art

How Great Thou Art – NRUMC Praise Team 2024
How Great Thou Art – Isaac 2024

How Great Thou Art

1 O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

REFRAIN:
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
2 When through the woods, and forest glades I wander, and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees. When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur and see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.  REFRAIN
3 And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing; sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in; That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin. REFRAIN
4 When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation, and take me home, what joy shall fill my heart. Then I shall bow, in humble adoration, and then proclaim: “My God, how great Thou art!” REFRAIN
