We Walk By Faith

We Walk By Faith – Instrumental in F

1. We walk by faith, and not by sight: No gracious words we hear of him who spoke as none e’er spoke, but we believe him near.
2. We may not touch his hands and side, nor follow where he trod; yet in his promise we rejoice, and cry, “My Lord and God!”
3. Help then, O Lord, our unbelief, and may our faith abound; to call on you when you are near. and seek where you are found:
4. That when our life of faith is done in realms of clearer light We may behold you as you are in full and endless sight.

The Solid Rock

1 My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
Refrain:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; All other ground is sinking sand, All other ground is sinking sand.
2 When Darkness veils his lovely face,  I rest on his unchanging grace. In every high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the veil. Refrain
3 His oath, his covenant, his blood supports me in the whelming flood. When all around my soul gives way, he then is all my hope and stay. Refrain
4 When he shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in him be found! Dressed in his righteousness alone, faultless to stand before the throne! Refrain

Softly and Tenderly

Softly & Tenderly Jesus is Calling – Melody (Isaac)
Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling – Alto Part

1 Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling, calling for you and for me; see, on the portals he’s waiting and watching, watching for you and for me.
Refrain:
Come home, come home; ye who are weary come home; earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling, O sinner, come home!

2 Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading, pleading for you and for me? Why should we linger and heed not his mercies, mercies for you and for me? (Refrain)
3 Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing, passing from you and from me; shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming, coming for you and for me. (Refrain)
4 O for the wonderful love he has promised, promised for you and for me! Though we have sinned, he has mercy and pardon, pardon for you and for me. (Refrain)
