Dear Choir,
This will be your place to come to in order to practice your music
every week.

How to use this site

Make sure to match pitch with the recordings, take deep breaths from your core and support all of your pitches, (especially the easy mid to low range pitches, for they easily go out of tune when there is no support under them).  Another important thing is that should you practice using headphones, it is a bit easier to hear yourself if you move one side of the headphones away from that ear.
(Of course, should your part be recorded panned to one side,
be sure to remove the other side of the headphones from your ear.)

Internal blogging

It is also a place where you may post comments to other choir members or to me, your Choir Director and organist/pianist.  Please keep the tone polite.

Also, I plan to use the site for posting all of your pictures of not just the choir and musicians, but also of all of the regular parishioners, members, lay assistants and families that pray together every Sunday at New Rochelle United Methodist Church.  I will soon have a method by which you may submit them for posting on this website.  You will also be able to download the pictures that you like, as well.

Most importantly, I am looking forward to making some beautiful and inspirational music with this entire choir and instrumental ensemble.
