  • If I Can Help Somebody

If I Can Help Somebody (Zion Still Sings 140)
If I Can Help Somebody (Zion Still Sings 140) with Chord Changes
If I Can Help Somebody – NRUMC Choir

If I can help somebody as I pass along, If I can cheer somebody with a word or a song,

If I can show somebody he is travelling wrong, Then my living shall not be in vain!

    Chorus:

Then my living shall not be in vain

If I can help somebody as I pass along, Then my living shall not be in vain!

If I can do my duty as a Christian ought, If I can bring back beauty to a world up wrought,

If I can spread love’s message that the Master taught,

Then my living shall not be in vain!

Then my living shall not be in vain, Then my living shall not be in vain!

If I can help somebody as I pass along, Then my living shall not be in vain!

  • I’ll Just Say Yes

I’ll just say yes.  You lead the way.  I’m not afraid of what it means for me to say. That this life You gave is not my own I’m trusting You to hear my yes and lead me on.
    Refrain:
Yes Lord, yes Lord, my life is Yours. I’ll just say yes (yes Lord). You lead the way (yes Lord) I’m not afraid of what it means for me to say that this life You gave is not my own. I’m trusting You to hear my yes and lead me on.

Yes Lord, Yes Lord; my life is Yours. x2

And there is peace when I say yes. I might not see it now but You save the best for all who trust You and obey.  There is an answer no more delay. I’ll just say Yes, yes Lord; yes Lord my life is Yours x3
And there is peace when I say yes; I might not see it now.  But You save the best for all who trust You and obey.
There is an answer no more delay and there is peace when I say yes I might not see it now but You save the best for all who trust You and obey.
There is an answer no more delay; I’ll just say yes
Yes Lord, yes Lord, my life is Yours (x7)

  • While Shepherds Watches Their Flocks

1 While shepherds watched their flocks by night, all seated on the ground; the angel of the Lord came down, and glory shone around, and glory shone around.
2 “Fear not!” said he, for mighty dread had seized their troubled mind. “Glad tidings of great joy I bring to all of humankind, to all of humankind.”
3 “To you, in David’s town, this day is born of David’s line a Savior, who is Christ the Lord, and this shall be the sign, and this shall be the sign:”
4 “The heavenly babe you there shall find to human view displayed, all meanly wrapped in swathing bands, and in a manger laid, and in a manger laid.”
5 Thus spake the seraph and forthwith appeared a shining throng of angels praising God on high, who thus addressed their song, who thus addressed their song:
6 “All glory be to God on high, and to the earth be peace; good will henceforth from heaven to earth begin and never cease, begin and never cease!”

  • What Child Is This

1 What child is this? Who, laid to rest, on Mary’s lap is sleeping? Who angel with anthems sweet, while Shepherds watch are keeping?
    REFRAIN:
This, this is Christ, the king, whom Shepherd’s guard and angels sing; haste, haste to bring him, laud, the babe, the son of Mary.

2 Why lies he in such mean estate ox and ass are feeding? Good Christians, fear, for sinners here the silent word is pleading. REFRAIN
3 So bring him incense, gold, myrrh, come, peasant, king, to own him. The King of Kings salvation brings, let loving hearts enthrone him. REFRAIN

  • Of the Father’s Love Begotten

1 Of the Father’s love begotten, Ere the worlds began to be, He is Alpha and Omega, He the source, the ending He of the things that are, that have been, and that future years shall see,
    Evermore and evermore.
2 O ye heights of Heav’n adore him! Angel hosts his praises sing! All dominions bow before him and extol our God and King; let no tongue on Earth be silent, every voice in concert ring evermore and evermore.
3 Christ! to thee with God the Father, and O Holy Ghost, to thee, hymn and chant and high thanksgiving and unwearied praises be, Honor, glory, and dominion, and eternal victory, evermore and evermore.

  • Now, Thank We All Our G-d

1 Now thank we all our God, with heart and hands and voices, who wondrous things has done, in whom this world rejoices; who from our mothers’ arms has blessed us on our way with countless gifts of love, and still is ours today.
2 O may this bounteous God through all our life be near us, with ever joyful hearts and blessed peace to cheer us; and keep us still in grace, and guide us when perplexed; and free us from all ills, in this world and the next.
3 All praise and thanks to God the Father now be given; the Son, and him who reigns with them in highest heaven; the one eternal God, whom earth and heaven adore; for thus it was, is now, and shall be evermore.

  • Come Ye Thankful People, Come

1 Come, ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home; all is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin. God our Maker doth provide for our wants to be supplied; come to G-d’s own temple, come, raise the song of harvest home.
2 All the world is G-d’s own field, fruit as praise to G-d we yield; wheat and tares together sown are to joy or sorrow grown; first the blade and then the ear, then the full corn shall appear; Lord of harvest, grant that we wholesome grain and pure may be.
    3 For the Lord our G-d shall come, and shall take the harvest home; from the field shall in that day all offenses purge away, giving angels charge at last in the fire the tares to cast;
but the fruitful ears to store
    in the garner evermore.
4 Even so, Lord, quickly come, bring thy final harvest home; gather thou thy people in,
free from sorrow, free from sin, there, forever purified, in thy presence to abide; come, with all thine angels, come, raise the glorious harvest home.
